Which survey do I need?
For a majority of properties a RICS Home Survey Level 2 is sufficient. However on older and rundown properties a RICS Home Survey Level 3 is recommended. 

How do I make payment?
On instruction you will receive a confirmation email along with our terms & conditions and an invoice with instructions how to pay by Online Bank Transfer or via debit or credit card.

How long will it take for my report to be produced after the survey?
The report will be available after payment has been received and usually within 3 days of inspection. A contact email is required and the report will be forwarded electronically in the first instance and secondly by post.

What does RICS regulated mean?
Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is the professional body. RICS regulation ensures that regulated firms demonstrate the highest professional, technical and ethical standards.www.rics.org

How much does a survey cost?
From £500 dependent on size, age, postcode and agreed purchase price.

Which areas do you work in?
We have over 30 years experience in London, Surrey & Essex and cover all areas of London and the South East.

Do you have Insurance?
Yes we have Professional Indemnity Cover to survey residential property.

What does Reinstatement Cost mean?
Reinstatement Cost is a term in a RICS Level 2 Home Survey and used for Building Insurance purposes. This is not an estimate of repair costs.

Can I cancel a Survey?
We understand circumstances can change in a property chain and survey appointments sometimes need to be cancelled or rebooked. To cancel your survey we must receive written notification that you wish to cancel by 17:00 two working days prior to the appointment. If the survey appointment is cancelled with the two working days notice (by 17:00 pm) an administration fee of £50 will be charged. If it is within 48 hours you will be liable for the full cost of the survey. Please email admin@r-sa.co.uk with a subject line of Cancellation if you wish to cancel or rebook.

 Do you recommend tradesmen?
No we do not provide recommendations.

Can the report be in more than one name?
Yes we follow the instructions you supply and address the report accordingly.
